Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is a family of iron based steels with at least 10.5% chromium with many containing a diverse number of elements including nickel, molybdenum, copper, titanium, silicon, niobium, nitrogen and sulfur. Stainless steels are selected based on a number of variables including corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, fabrication characteristics and mechanical properties.
